Questions

Short answers. The longer versions live on How it works, Pricing, and Adaptive play.

Do we have to download an app?

No. Find Fun Anywhere is a website you can install on your phone from the browser. At an event, people join with a code. There is no app store and no ten minutes of installs in the parking lot.

How many people are on a team?

A team is one phone, any size. Count phones, not people. Extra people around that phone cost nothing. The team cap on a plan is the moment to move up a tier, and it is not policed at the door.

What does “proof is a picture” mean?

Every challenge is finished with a photo taken inside the site, so the picture lands on the right line. You are not sorting fifty camera-roll photos at the end of the day.

Is it free?

A 20-item sampler is free, for up to 4 teams. Custom is $10 for a 50-item hunt. Monthly is $15 for 8 Custom hunts. Events start at $49. The pricing page shows the team count in every box.

What are Easy, Playful, and Daring?

Three levels, one list. Easy is the comfortable yes. Playful adds a braver option. Daring adds a line that needs a stranger, a public pose, or a small purchase. You can reshoot a line higher before the game ends. The board shows that a line is done, not which rung you took.

Will other teams see our score?

Not until the end. Players see their own lines, not the ranking. The host can see standings. Near the end, every phone gets a final stretch: the last 10 lines on a long list, and fewer on a short one. Lines finished in that window score double. When the host ends the hunt, every phone and the big screen play the same reveal: 3rd, 2nd, then 1st, then the photos and the standings. A phone that joins late or reloads still sees that reveal, or the results if it has already played. A game with no shared screen gets the full reveal on each phone.

How long does a hunt take?

About a minute an item, from the days we have played. 20 items is roughly 20 to 30 minutes. 50 items is about an hour. An hour is the ceiling.

Who is it for?

Groups. Grandparents and grandkids, families, RVers in a new town, friend groups, church and youth groups, and companies. The lines are PG. There are no age labels printed on the list.

Can kids play?

Yes. Anyone can play the free hunt. Uploading pictures follows the law: 13 and up, or a parent or guardian with them. Photos are kept 90 days. On the field tests, younger kids needed a parent to read the lines out loud, and that is a fine way to play.

What is adaptive play?

The same hunt, built so more people can finish it: a wheelchair route, sensory-friendly timing, picture-only and non-verbal versions, large print. Same points, same recap. It is free for special-education classrooms, therapy clinics, and adaptive recreation programs.

Are there sponsors inside a hunt?

On a free list, up to two stops can be a chain that exists in a lot of towns, like a store you were walking past anyway. One sponsor per category. We do not sell your email to them. Local one-off ads are not the model.

How do we get help?

Email hello@findfunanywhere.com. Tell us the place, the date, and what you need. Support is email only, and a person reads it.

Can we play today?

The public site is up. Hunts open for everyone after private tests. Join the waitlist. The first 1,000 people get a free Custom hunt when play opens.
