1Photo with the lighthouse. Get the whole thing in.
2Walk the boardwalk end to end. Photo at each end.
3Read a historical plaque out loud. Fair warning: a lot of the history here was invented for the square.
4Find the Oscar’s Bait & Tackle plaque on the ice cream shop.
5Find the Legend of Bocephus on the boardwalk and tell it to a stranger.
6Photo with the most decorated golf cart in the square.
7Dance to the live music on the square. Any song, 30 seconds.
8Boat tour from behind RJ Gators, or a photo of the boat leaving.
9Ice cream on the square. Photo before the first bite.
10Photo in front of the Old Mill Playhouse marquee.
11Ask a Villager to take your photo, then take one of them.
12Find a building that looks 100 years old. A lot of them are from 2004.
13Find a date on a building, then find the real opening year on the sign.
14Sunset over the lake from the waterfront.
15Find a duck, a heron, or a turtle on the water.
16Find someone from your home state. Swap a story.
17Lighthouse Point patio. A drink with the lake behind you, or the photo of the patio if you’re not ordering.

Questions about this hunt

Is this only for residents?

No. It’s a hunt for a visit. Be decent to the people who live there. Ask before you photograph someone, and take the line-dance lesson only if they’re offering.
